So I have been doing a fair share of studying and getting ready to start a new adventure teaching here in town. I love the amazing approach and in depth studies we will be exploring in Montessori science--botany and zoology. While I am studying and preparing I am remembering Mom telling Cory and I that human beings were homo sapians. I distinctly remembering how exciting it was that we had a scientific name and I wanted to learn more about other scientific names for both plants and animals.
I hope I can spark that same curiosity my wonderful Mom sparked many years ago.

Tonight I met my friend Julie for some appetizers over in Hudson at Brick and Bourbon. So fun to catch up!
